But good to hear you found an easier set up. Easiest way to do this is by splitting up current heards with the beefalo horn and seperating them far enough away from their 'home' herd. wild beefalos will just ignore whoever comes nearby, BUT when mating season comes, u can't get near it or it will try to destroy the wall to attack you. If you form 'multiple heards' you increase the number of babies that can spawn. Of course, Shipwrecked is still relatively new and is sure to be tweaked and improved in the coming months, but I find myself uncertain on whether or not these particular issues will be addressed in the nearest approaching update. but note that, if you use your beefalo for riding, it will lose all the progress and u will go back to just a few moments of riding before it bucks you off. With the introduction of the new Water Beefalo mob into the new Shipwrecked DLC, I've developed a series of concerns regarding their rudimentary design. If u don't want him following you any longer, u need to stop feeding and riding him for some time until it's wild again. Originally posted by The Revenant:if it keeps following you consistently even after some days, the only possible answers are: you or someone gave him food (grass/twigs/vegetables/fruits whatever) and therefore initiated the domestication process OR it's just a bug.ĭomesticated beefalos or in process of domestication will greet humans passing nearby or even follow the player if it was recently fed.
